Description
Villa Blue Sky was designed to reflect its name, as the entire interiors get flooded with the vibrant blue-hued light from the cloudless sky and the glistening Aegean Sea. Perched high in the woodland-clad hills of Kalamar, Villa Blue Sky awaits guests to welcome into its spacious interiors. Modern facilities inside and out ensure you’ll be able to make the most of your time in the Turkish sunshine, surrounded by soaring mountains. In just a twenty-minute walk, you can reach the bustling centre of Kalkan, full of winding, cobbled streets lined with whitewashed houses, restaurants, shops, and bars. Sample the local wines and beers, delve into the bazaar or tuck into some deliciously homemade Turkish mezes and kebab dishes. If you’re longing to sink your toes in the sand, hop in the car to Kaputas and Patara beaches and go for a scenic dip in their crystal-clear waters.
When you enter the villa, you’re met with an open-plan living space drowned in natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors. The colour palette is calm and soothing, with cool whites, soft earthy tones, and steel greys. The entire villa features a minimalist design, with simple décor and contemporary-style furnishings in every room. In the living area, you’ll find a comfy grey L-shaped sofa and scatter cushions, complementing the vivid armchairs overlooking the flat-screen TV. The adjacent dining area has a smart wood table with soft grey upholstered chairs, perfectly positioned to overlook the one-of-a-kind scenery and backed by a sleek, white, fully-equipped kitchen. A cream marble staircase leads you to the first floor, with one double and one twin bedroom, all overlooking the glistening coastal vistas and with balcony access. On the second floor is the final double bedroom, with its own marble-coated ensuite bathroom and private upper terrace.
The architecture is as impressive as it gets, beautifully designed to the highest of standards with an iron-grey and sleek white exterior. When you enter the outside space, you’ll be tempted to dive straight into the divine infinity pool. Laying poolside is a line of lavish sun loungers, ideal for sipping an ice-cold cocktail and enjoying some well-deserved downtime. The upper terrace and balconies are cosy nooks, covered in soft seating, perfect for picturesque mornings sipping coffee in the backdrop. You can even enjoy dinners with a view, with a spacious six-seater dining table nestled under the wood-panelled pergola. With a barbecue set-up on the side, whip up fresh vegetables and locally-sourced meats whilst basking in the Turkish sun.
