Perched on a gentle olive and lemon tree-cloaked hillside in Lakithra and set amongst mature gardens, the brand-new Villa Echos is a verdant dream with a truly relaxed aura. Of course, the uninterrupted panoramic views of Kefalonia’s azure blue coastline are also a huge draw to the property, giving guests little reason to leave!

An independent driveway leads down to the beautiful stone villa so you park on the same level. Interiors feature wooden floors and rustic accents, adding a cosy feel to the modern design, while glass doors leading to the exquisite infinity-style pool area and large windows flood the rooms with natural light. There are three bedrooms in total, one located on the ground floor with access to the terrace and a further two upstairs, all offering far-reaching Ionian Sea views – some of the greatest vistas you can wake up and fall asleep to. The exterior areas are generous and aside from luxuriating around the breathtaking pool, guests are encouraged to dine alfresco on the beautiful covered terrace as the sun sets. There will also be a new shaded pergola and garden area for 2021.

There’s little need to leave your perfect villa but if you do want to explore the area, Lakithra village is just a short drive away. Visit the village bakery in the morning to purchase delicious picnic snacks, before heading to the beach or strolling along scenic countryside trails. The charming resort of Lassi with its fantastic beaches and abundance of restaurants and shops is also close-by, while the palm-tree lined waterfront promenade in the capital Argostoli lends itself to leisurely strolls, as you soak up centuries of history and character.

For your own safety please, do not use inflatables inside the infinity pool, or sit, walk or stand on the infinity pool edge. Children are to be supervised at all times.
